For more than two decades, Seftel Productions has created artfully engaging, character-driven films with a social conscience. Most recently, Joshua Seftel directed War Inc., a political satire starring John Cusack, Ben Kingsley and Marisa Tomei that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and went on to play in theaters across the country. Seftel began his career at age 22 with the award-winning PBS documentary, Lost and Found, about the plight of Romania’s 120,000 orphaned and abandoned children. Subsequent films include Taking on the Kennedys — chosen by Time Magazine as “one of the ten best television programs of the year” — and HBO’s Ennis’ Gift, produced with Bill Cosby in memory of the actor’s son. Seftel Productions is currently in development on several narrative films and feature documentaries.
